RFC Busy Bees Rugby Club
The association has supported the RFC Busy Bees rugby club for many years. Here you can learn more about the club and how to support them.
The Busy Bees
This club is based in Langa. It was established in 1923 and is considered by many to be the first “black” rugby club in South Africa.
Nearly 200 young people of all ages train at this club and represent the township in matches on weekends.
The help from Cap sportif consists of financial assistance to pay the salaries of coaches as well as regular material assistance, in particular by renewing some of the jersey that the club makes available to young players.

What are our donations used for?
The year 2021 marks the 10th anniversary of the relationship between Cap Sportif and the Busy Bees. On this occasion, we would like to strengthen the support that the community of Francophones and friends of Francophones can provide to these young people.
The 2023 Rugby World Cup will be played in France. Representing your country at such a competition is a dream that some of these young people have. We hope we can help them achieve it one day.
The club has expressed several needs that we will try to meet in the months or years to come.
Renew players' outfits
The club provides outfits for players during matches and then collects them. So an outfit can be used for almost 4 years. They expressed to us the need to renew them. A first operation allowed them to offer them 20 new outfits. We hope to be able to provide them with 200 new outfits to equip all the teams.
Create a gym
To progress, players need to build up their muscles! Once we have equipped the club with outfits we want to help them set up a muscle building room. The project consists of bringing in a 40-foot container and transforming it into a weight room.
Fund coaches
The club needs coaches. Even if today most of them work on a voluntary basis, it is sometimes difficult for some to pay for the necessary transport to get to the training or playing field. The association has been supporting a coach for several years to ensure continuity. We are looking for sponsors or supports that would allow us to ensure a minimum of income for the coaches who are dedicated to the life of the club.
The dream, a delegation for Paris 2023
It is not enough to equip players to motivate them, it is also necessary to inspire them. Our dream would be to be able to send a delegation of players from the Busy Bees Club to go see the Rugby World Cup in France and who knows why not appear on the field and on TV! If you have any ideas to help us do not hesitate!
They support the Busy Bees and we thank them:
